In October, we expect Dining for Change dinner hosts to bring together professionals and future professionals from coast to coast to network, socialize and engage in grassroots fundraising. Our goal is to raise over $250,000 in October (with an average of $25 per person) and show the world the power of beauty to effect change through our collective support of three industry related charities:

CUT IT OUT/Salons Against Domestic Abuse Fund,

A consumer awareness and educational program in support of the national domestic violence hotline and local women’s shelters.

100% of the Dining for Change proceeds will go to support the work of these charities.

Dining for Change is based on a shared giving model of philanthropy. Participants come together to connect, network and share a meal. Each guest makes a small, voluntary donation to the designated charities (i.e. $25) and combine their donations with others from across the country to elevate the collective giving of all.
